2017 Food Waste Solutions Summit

The inaugural Food Waste Solutions Summit was held in October 2017, and was a “come one, come all” invitation to anyone interested in the problem of food waste in WNC. From individuals and food-focused community organizations, to municipalities, businesses, and educational institutions, the Summit asked participants to identify their place on the Food Recovery Hierarchy to connect and share ideas on issues of food waste personal to them.
