This course is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of vegetable fermenting for the home as well as to introduce you to problem solving techniques to get creative with fermenting. We will cover the two basic types of vegetable fermentation, self-brinning (kraut and kimchi) & brinned (pickles). You will walk away with a secure base in the general application of fermentation, basic uses in your daily life and the understanding to cut your food waste, reduce food budget and increase your nutritional value.
